Based in Ibiza, Jacobo Saavedra is a DJ, producer and mixing/mastering engineer whose work connects club energy with detailed studio craftsmanship. Alongside Jay Nortown, he forms JNJS, a project shaped by a strong presence within the electronic underground, with performances linked to key spaces and events such as Circoloco at DC10, Sophie, Yoyaku and Why?Not, among others.
In the studio, his focus is on shaping records with depth, punch and clarity while preserving the identity of each artist. Working across analog and digital workflows, Jacobo brings a club-aware approach to production, mixdown and mastering, aiming for powerful translation, musical detail and a final result that feels refined, energetic and effective on any sound system.
As part of JNJS and through his wider studio work, his sound has been connected to labels such as UVAR, After Caposile, Slacker and Politics of Dancing, as well as VELVET, the imprint he co-owns. This studio side complements a career built through DJing, producing and developing music with a clear vision: records that feel honest, distinctive and ready for both the club and beyond.
